One star off because it's not silk. They are thick satin. But I don't care because they work great. Exactly as pictured, soft on my hair, they look amazing and best of all they won't leave a dent in your hair!

If I could use a word for it: disappointment. The first elastic I touched fell apart revealing the chain and this piece of elastic visible in her sewing basket. The fabric looks ridiculous and soft, but it's actually stiff, not soft. The colors are decent, but the curls don't stretch well and we're disappointed again. I was intending to buy a famous brand but the price blew me away and thought I'd try it but in the end it turned out to be a waste of money.

This is a lot smaller than I expected. It's also a strenuous route. It doesn't look like it has a good hair tie, it's just a stretchy fabric.</p>

I love it! I have thin hair but it holds up great and doesn't rip my hair when I take it out. They also retain their elasticity very well over time. Would buy again.

The product name is misleading. The product is NOT silk, it is a cheap satin. The quality of the tailoring is terrible, the edges of the fabric stick out, the threads stick out. Would definitely not buy this again.

Two broke the elastic before they got into my hair. Very soft and one of the few hair bands that doesn't give me a headache. I have very thick hair and the hold is great.

After the first or second use of any of these hair ties they will come loose at the seam. I have very thin curly long hair and they were a disaster.
