I could never wear a hood. to narrow. That's great. All my warmth is lost at the top of your head, especially with a balding head and 100 feet down. This keeps you warm. Will not fall off, very comfortable and convenient. I wore it at the lake next to my house on all my dives in Cozumel, Playa del Carmen. Perfect.

This beanie is perfect when you need extra warmth but don't like wearing a hood. I always feel that hoods constrict my throat. I received this hat and wore it for 4 dives in my career. It added warmth and comfort without any discomfort. I highly recommend it. Note that this is great for women as it keeps hair out of the face.
