These hair ties break constantly and easily. All the straps I used from the two packs I bought broke on the first use or two. If it doesn't tear when you first use it, it will stretch a lot along the seam. I don't overwhelm the bands or put undue pressure on them. I've been putting my hair in ponytails and buns for literally years and I've never had a hair tie this bad. Aggravating.

At first I wondered why my careless daughters scattered them all over the house. Then I noticed our cats sneaking up on our "hair basket" and fishing for their own toys. They love playing with them, especially banging them on the kitchen floor. I really don't mind. After all, you won't find a cheaper cat toy anywhere! They also work very well on human hair. It's too loose if I tie the hair tie 3 times, so I always do 4. This hair tie snaps into the fourth loop and I have to save it by knotting the ends.
