SE 8340CH P Chasing Hammer 10: A Powerful Tool for Precise Metalworking Review

The hammer is a good weight and the dome has no defects that require repair before use. So far I'm not worried about the handle breaking or the head falling off.

Perfect for my needs. The large, rounded side flattens the wire without leaving a dent like a flat hammer. The smaller side leaves nice dents on the wire, flattened or not.

Cannot be used straight out of the box. The head was pressed against the handle and had splinters of wood. The handle is not trimmed. it did the job but time is money in a job.

If I could give this cheap piece you know I would give less than one star. Within 5 minutes of use, the pin holding the head to the hammer fell out. I put it back in and got to work. After another 5 minutes, the domed end came off completely. Wouldn't buy again, waste of money!

This is my first hammer in my life so take it with care! I like this hammer! I was worried it would be flat because the product photo isn't good :/ Obviously it's convex and very light but strong. Heavier at the top. I got here just in time too. I am looking forward to starting this work on my wire! If it falls apart I'll edit the review lol. But so far everything looks great! Thank you 😊
