It provides bacteria that break down excess food, waste, and detritus in freshwater and marine systems. HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT: Seachem Pristine works to reduce excess nutrients (e. g. ammonia, nitrates, and nitrites) that may fuel the growth of nuisance and disease-causing organisms, working to increase water clarity and promote overall better health for the aquatic environment. GOOD BACTERIA: The bacteria species in Pristine thrive in fresh or saltwater and can utilize a wide range of organic compounds, including fats that cause unsightly films.
