Description of Seachem Liquid Neutral Regulator 480Ml

NEUTRALIZES PH: Neutral Regulator adjusts pH to neutral (pH 7.0) from either a low or high pH and maintains it there. SOFTENS WATER: Seachem’s Neutral Regulator softens water by precipitating calcium and magnesium while removing any chlorine, chloramine, and detoxifying ammonia. OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE: To lower pH below 7.0 use the Neutral Regulator with Seachem’s Acid Regulator or Discus Buffer. To raise pH above 7.0 use with Seachem’s Alkaline Regulator. TANK USE: Use 5 g (1 level teaspoon) for every 40–80 L (10–20 US gallons) once or twice a month (or as necessary to maintain a pH of 7.0.) Neutral Regulator may be initially used daily in cases of high alkalinity until 7.0 is established. SAFETY: Seachem’s Neutral Regulator is safe for all freshwater fish acclimated to neutral pH. It contains phosphate buffers and conditioning agents.

Effective solution for pH issues

This liquid neutral REGULATOR has been a lifesaver for my aquarium. Through trial and error, I found that my fish were struggling due to pH imbalances. This product was the solution to my problems. It effectively stabilized and maintained a healthy pH level in my aquarium... The concentrated formula also makes a little go a long way. The only downside is the initial cost but the quality justifies it. overall, I highly recommend this product for anyone struggling with pH imbalances in their…

Pros
  • Effectively maintains the pH level in aquariums
Cons
  • May cause drastic changes in pH level if not used properly

Arrived leaking Suitable for fish and aquatic animals

When it arrived (shipped in its own bubble wrapped plastic bag) it was intact but leaking. The seal is still on the cap of the bottle, but on closer inspection it has fallen out in one place (picture). I'm not sure how much has been lost, but I don't think it's a huge amount based on how the weight feels. I bought two packs of Purigen to top up, I haven't gotten around to it yet, so I can't comment on its effects. Will keep the bottle but felt the leak deserved attention.

Pros
  • Aquarium water treatment
Cons
  • old
