Part of a quality water additive dosing system

Dissolves easily in RODI makeup water. Phosphates do not increase. Corals can use more calcium and grow faster with magnesium supplements. Recommend this system with other SeaChem components; Reef Builder and Calcium.

mixes easily and increases magnesium levels. Use slightly warm water for better mixing. or at least for me it worked better. I don't use it too much as my magnesium levels are already higher than what I thought the test kit would say.

Seachem Reef Advantage

I have been slowly increasing the magnesium levels in my salt reef aquarium. But it takes a lot of things to actually change the Mg levels in a large aquarium. I'm aiming to get my levels down to 1375 ppm, but I've only seen 1200 at best, which is probably still fine. It's important to note that I started this Mg Boost job when my salt level was 1.022 g/mL, which was the reading from my local fish shop.
