A short life is best when rowing

The price is high, but short-lived. The previous one I installed took 3 days. Others (sea selection) lasted 1-6 months.

  • Sport
Cons
  • Almost never

Great and easy to install

The product works great and is very easy to install. It's nice to know that I don't have to think too much about what's in the hold and possibly sink my boat.

Reliable float switch but requires a lot of water to activate

I keep my 18 foot panga afloat by tying it to a large rock here in the tropics. We get 140 inches of rain a year and mostly at night so I need a reliable float switch that activates my bilge pump to keep the boat from sinking in heavy rain. This switch is reliable. BUT, the switch won't close until the water level is quite high. The switch must operate quickly to prevent the boat from filling with water before signaling the bilge pump to do its thing.
