Useful and fun kitchen gadget

Very fun gadget! Now I can cut green onions into very thin strips and decorate dishes like a real chef! to use east. If you like culinary gadgets, this is definitely for you!

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Annoyed

NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!

I don't usually write reviews. or at least a bad one, i got it a week ago, didn't use it, today was the first time i opened the box and so far am happy to use it. it broke the glue was horrible every time i tried to pull it all out it just started to fall apart. I'm trying to glue it but it didn't work, don't waste your money.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Nothing

cheap and broke on first use

this thing was so cheap and badly made. The splitter itself is a thin round metal cutout with a red plastic circle around it for you to hold and guide a spring onion or water sprout, but it's so thin you can't even pull it out and get stuck. I broke it the first time I used it and ended up just hand chopping shallots. What a waste of $12.

Pros
  • not cheap but decent
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Wish it worked better

Glad there is a kitchen tool for shredding water spinach, but it took me forever and a day to shred a batch of water spinach from the store, enough for a noodle soup. Also, the shreds got stuck between the blades, making further grinding impossible without figuring out how to clean them. I used a toothpick. And then it was damn hard to clean. I just ordered an actual knife from an Etsy seller who makes them specifically for chopping water spinach. Hope it works better.

Pros
  • I look forward to
Cons
  • The list will be large.
