Amazing it actually works

I was about to change the fork seals on my 2007 FJR and decided to try it as a last resort. To my surprise, it worked great. The fork seals have not leaked for almost 2 months after cleaning. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Not automatic

It really works. - Parts

Really works! Follow the included instructions and you can't go wrong. Tip: Tap the seal with the palm of your hand for a better grip. You have to repeat the process described in the instructions several times. Take a short bike ride to land a seal. I used a seal on my Showa 43mm fork.

Fell don't be lazy and fix the fork

Very weak, not very good design for sports bikes. I think it will be useful for more off-road guys. I prefer to use a seal retainer that completely surrounds the fork. It's a little difficult to get around the fork while maintaining position between the seal and the fork.

  • Weight
Cons
  • There are nuances

It worked!: Parts

How do you measure the value of something? By price? Do you do it at cost price? After the results? I'm sure it didn't cost much and wasn't easy to get it around my bike's fork without ruining it, but IT WORKS! Not only did this save hundreds of dollars - including my transportation for delivery and pickup - anywhere from $300 to $500. More importantly it saved valuable time here towards the end of the ski season! I highly recommend it!

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Upgradable

Works well. ish β€” Motorcycle & Powersports

Very good for removing dirt from fork seals. A friend had a gasket leak on his Suzuki Savage and it was crazy how much dirt this tool removed. Unfortunately this didn't fix the leak so we have to replace the gaskets. So this product works as advertised but I doubt it will solve your problem unless you are on a dirt bike or something. For the price it was definitely worth a try and it doesn't take up much room in my toolbox so I could use it again.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

It's not a trick, it really works!

I have a 2010 Victory Hammer S and the front left fork has mysteriously started to leak. I made an appointment and was offered $400 to replace the fork seals on both sides. A quick Google search found this Seal Mate product to be less than $10. Not a big fan of tricks I thought, for $10 I'll give it a try. I'm happy to report that it worked like clockwork. I couldn't believe it and neither could my biker friend who helped me with it. The product really worked and now my plug doesn't leak…

Worked and saved my leaking forks

Last year one of my WR250R had a leaking fork after less than 2000 miles. I ordered and replaced OEM fork seals. This year my other WR250R also had a leak. I was ready to buy another set of seals but decided to try the Seal Mate. To my surprise, this eliminated the leak and prevented unnecessary fork rush - more time to ride! I understand that sooner or later there will come a time when the seals really need to be replaced. The Seal Mate saved me some money and most importantly time.

  • Nice
