Broke after 6 months

Pros: Fits well on lens and looks clean Bad: Broke after 6 months of heavy use Teeth worn and layers peeled off Slips on rubber ring and causes tracking focus marks except to come on duty. PLA 3D printing appears brittle and unsuitable for gears. Direct sunlight and hot weather could ruin mine to the point where it started slipping and wearing down my teeth. Not worth the price.

Pros
  • Not only useful for intended purpose
Cons
  • Light maintenance

Fits like a glove: camera and photo

I really like this tracking focus mechanism. This is exactly what I was looking for. It fits my Sigma 18-35 with no issues and hasn't come loose or loosened over many days of shooting. It's a little pricey compared to the usual general-purpose focus-tracking mechanisms, but it's worth it to me because it looks so much more professional and saves space too. I will try to order more on their website for my other lenses.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Not everything is as good as it says

Ideal for camera lenses

Good fit. Even if it doesn't, it includes instructions on how to get the best fit. For some reason I thought it was hard rubber, but it looks like 3D printed plastic. Not bad, I guess I just didn't do enough research beforehand. Hard rubber probably wouldn't be good for focus tracking. In any case, the mechanism fits perfectly. I use it for videos, my wife takes pictures and it doesn't bother her or bother her using it. It never leaves my lens and has made one of my favorite lenses even more…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Fair

Mandatory for any Sigma Art 18-35mm 1.8 lens

Best focus ring I have ever had for any of my lenses. The problem with the focus rings that come with my follow focus wireless or wired systems is A. They are usually too flimsy. B. With non-cinema lenses (PL mounts) that don't have hard stoppers, they sometimes won't let you focus all the way to infinity to focus forwardC. They are thin and not always durable. This focus ring solves all three of those problems, it sits snugly on the lens without worrying about over tightening. It also doesn't…

The perfect solution to an age old problem!

I've been shooting with my Sigma 18-35 and Nikon 24-70 for a while and I've missed the simplicity of my other lenses' built-in tracking rings, but that's no longer my problem. This particular trail gear is one of the best purchases I've ever made in my gear. It's the right size and comes in a professionally padded box and feels sturdy enough for a discerning user like me. The fit is snug, but it should be (who needs loose tracking gear). I have found that the best way to install them is to…
