Just got it and tried it. very difficult to remove once the wax has cooled. Please provide an alternative solution.

I immediately realized this was dangerous - the tops of the molds were not smoothed and could therefore cut your fingers, especially when unscrewed from each other. I spent 1/2 hour with an electric drill and a wire brush attachment to smooth each one out.
