SEAVON Electric Dehumidifier Dehumidifiers Basements Review

This product was stored in a small room with a high relative humidity of 7o%. He worked for 3 days and pulled out 3 ounces of water. And didn't drop the RN at all. A week later I bought a larger model and a day later I pumped 2 gallons of water from the same spot. It removes moisture from the air, but not to an acceptable degree.

I was waiting to write a review just because I had time to see how effective the SEAVON electric dehumidifier would be. It doesn't disappoint! When I showered my bathroom was so foggy and mold was a problem. After installing this dehumidifier I noticed a difference. All you have to do is plug it into a safe, desired location and that's it. After reading the reviews - mostly good but there are also some very cautionary ones - I decided to give it a go and this little thing works great! Bought this for our old, cold, damp, musty smelling apartment. I put it in the closet because our clothes were damp, mold was constantly growing and I was tired of the smell. This dehumidifier is not powerful enough for a small bathroom. I bought this dehumidifier to help in a very humid small bathroom. I had this humidifier running continuously for 2 weeks and it didn't make much of a difference. Got almost no water. I would have thought I would have to empty it now. I ended up buying a large 30 liter dehumidifier, putting it in the same room and filling it with water at least once a day. I really wouldn't recommend this product to help with bathroom dampness…

It's not too humid here but I'm sensitive to it and it absorbs excess moisture from the air while I sleep and I wake up with less congestion.* Warning: don't try this at home , it may result in electric shock or fire. Update 06/02/21 I am pleased to report that the company has contacted me to offer some solutions to this problem. They offered to replace the product with a newer one or refund the money. I accepted a refund as we had already purchased a large unit. I don't think we really thought about how much space we have to work with. Still, I have to give five stars for customer service.
