I was really looking forward to getting these shoes for my father who has dependent edema. They are neat and good looking. The length allowed about an inch of extra room. I've tried them on twice since I've had the shoes and they are comfortable to wear and I'm sure I won't have to worry about the lacing anymore. They will probably become my go-to shoe when I need to wear something to go out of the house.

Decent construction and they look good, but being a size up from my usual size wasn't enough for my foot. Also, despite being advertised for people with swollen feet, the heel ridge on them is incredibly tight and hurt my incisions a lot. So if you are after surgery they may not be a good choice for you.

Shoes with an unusual design. My husband's orthotics are easy to fit. I love how the shoe opens wide enough for a disabled person to slip in easily. After trying on many shoes, we finally found one that fit the person. Thanks for the great design of this shoe. Sincerely, Susanna Watts.

Arrived today. So comfortable and fits just right. I can actually walk with no pain in my legs. I used to only wear flip flops. Very similar to Sketchers. Highly recommended!

These boots are very good quality and well made. They were bought for a paraplegic man with swelling in his legs and ankles. The ankle wrap was something his previous shoes didn't have and gives him more support. The only issue I have with these boots is that they may have more material on the top of the foot.

I ordered size 10 which always fits me but it was like trying to fit size 9. I could not find the size listed on the shoes. My conclusion: maybe they will fit if I order size 11. I'm afraid to order another pair for fear they won't fit. Which is a shame because they looked like they were very comfortable and would be great for my sore diabetic feet. A real shame as they would be worth the money if you could get the right size.
