Very Strong and Well Built

The thickness and quality of the plastic is very good. The two handles at the top make all the difference in getting the anchor into the sand deeply. The screw to hold the umbrella pole is thick and, so far has done an excellent job not breaking and holding the pole in place under strong beach winds. The five spiral screw rings are wide and thick. Works as expected best in my review

Anchors well, easy to screw into the sand. It's 100% plastic, so I'm not confident the handles won't break off at some point, but it's survived one use so far.

Helpful tool for windy beach days.

I bought this to go with an umbrella, and the first time I used it was a VERY windy beach day. Without this tool, I'm certain my umbrella would have blown away. It's super easy to use, and sturdy. Fits most (maybe all?) umbrellas.

Did not last long in my review

Looks very sturdy but on day 3 it broke when spiraling into the sand at Myrtle Beach, SC. It did hold up to average wind as described.

Handy Umbrella Accessory For The Beach

This anchor easily screws into the sand, providing a secure base for your umbrella. It's made of plastic, so we're careful torquing it so it doesn't break. It holds the umbrella securely in moderate wind, so very happy with it. Recommended.

Definitely get the job done

Works great! The plastic edges on mine (bought 3) are a little rough and can scratch my hands if Im not careful Thanks for attention!

Bought this for my umbrella and it does not screw into the ground ended up having to dig a hole hi and creating a wedge for it.

Fell over. Wouldn’t stay secure in sand

I put this in sandy soil in my yard and the umbrella repeatedly fell over. I ended up having to secure it with a concrete block.

SOFT SAND ONLY in my review

Tried this in dirt & it did not work. Yes, it was wet, but still a b*$#€ to put in. It may work on super soft sand, but one breeze & it will be gone.

It had a screw missing.

I have not used this item yet but need to use it before I could get a replacement. I ordered one earlier and for some reason was "undeliverable ".It looks sturdy but is missing the screw that tightens the umbrella pole.I’m hoping it stays because the pole of the umbrella I am planning to use fits pretty snug.

Great product for my opinion

Went to Florida on vacation wind was very strong but this thing held up GREAT was not disappointed! Love it! It may be difficult to store the sand anchor when not in use because of its size.

This really works! - my new review

After spending a windy day at the shore, umbrella kept falling. I bought this screw and it is unbelievable. Sturdy. The umbrella did not move. I would recommend this to any beach goer. Will not disappoint. 👍

Sturdy and easy to use

A must have for the beach if your umbrella doesn't have a spiral screw end. The thumb screw is resin and does not scratch the umbrella pole like a metal screw can. Easily screws into the sand using the sturdy handles.

I was worried that the arms would break off, but they are holding up terrifically. Good product and work very well for setting up a shelter on the beach -- even in strong winds. 5-star and deserving.

Makes putting the umbrella in the sand so much easier, and holds up!

We loved using this on our last beach trip! We had an umbrella with one attached to it, which was supposedly heavy duty, which ended up breaking off so we had this one as a back up. This one held up just as well if not more, and we were on a really windy beach! It also makes getting the umbrella into the sandy super easy. I was able to do it on my own in less than 5 minutes and I'm not very strong. Well worth the money and will be taking one of these on every beach trip going forwards.
