Did not last long in my review

Looks very sturdy but on day 3 it broke when spiraling into the sand at Myrtle Beach, SC. It did hold up to average wind as described.

Pros

Great tool, very durable and easy to maneuver into dirt or sand.

Cons

It may be difficult to screw the anchor into wet sand, reducing its utility in coastal areas

No matter what I did, our beach umbrella kept falling out with the wind until I used this product. I was skeptical but it held up our entire beach day like a champ! The screw that clamps down on the umbrella shaft is pretty strong and as I tightened it, I inadvertently dented the umbrella shaft. But I think this is more a function of a strong screw and a weak umbrella. Just be careful as you tighten it. This is a great purchase and is in our beach bag for future trips.
