This chain is not too thin and can lock up to 3 of our bikes together if we strategically line them up. The lock although plastic is easy to manipulate, the numbers run smoothly. My only concern is the numbers being plastic and may run off and only time will tell if it will hold up. Overall we are happy with this product and would use this to lock bike while getting coffee but maybe not an entire day while you’re at work.

Thanks to this anti theft chain my 450$ bike is now stolen, the locking mechanism locks up to where it's hard to turn the dial for the combination someone cut through the chain with ease

As advertised. Chain is heavier and thicker than expected. Easy to set new combination. Effective detterent for quick in and out trips. Would buy additional u lock for overnight or long term protection. But overall pleased w purchase.

we locked the lock without realizing the combination we set. i can not return this as i do not have my order number. is there anything i can do about this?

After using the lock for a week now my lock will no longer open and my bike is locked permanently to a rack. Angry Going to have to get bolt cutters

I have multiple of the coiled bike locks -- that design is inconvenient to me to deploy the cable then take it apart -- they spring around bike racks, etc. to which you affix your cable. Not so with this Titanker Bike Chain-- MUCH easier to take off the bike, hook up and take apart. This model is heavier than a coil, but that is not much of a concern to me -- it might be to you. We bought a house that has a chain link fence and two gates. They have no real way to lock so this entered my idea. Amazing only gripe was the dial sometimes gets stuck but the actual issue is pressure from both sides pulling it apart slightly. Once that pressure is relieved it works great.

Looks and feels heavy duty. Will keep people honest which is good enough. If someone wants to steal your bike, they will figure out a way no matter what is securing it. Combination is a little cumbersome to dial in but overall it’s perfect for the price!

I bought the Titanker bike chain lock, size 8mm and 3 ft, with the 4-digit combo lock. The lock came the next day (with prime shipping) and it is LEGIT. definitely some good weight to it, should ward off any potential bike thieves :) see photos with my bike locked up - 3 feet gets you close enough to wherever your anchor-point is to the bike frame, without any extra slack. Although I thought I ordered a key lock because I have very poor vision, the combo style would be difficult for me to read, the #'s were large and clear enough to read, the co.bo was easy to set.I'm extremely satisfied with this product.

I ordered this product a month ago and have used it quite frequently in NY since. Last night out of no where, the code just decided to stop working. After aggressively trying to open it, tweak the numbers, wiggle it around - the lock wasn't having it. I had to call a locksmith to come open it which ended up costing me $200. (11pm in NYC isn't the best time for this to happen) As much as I loved the product, after this experience I wouldn't recommend it to ANYONE. This was a VERY disappointing…

I do think the 8mm is better than the 6 mm, because even the 8mm can be somewhat short to attach around a pole. This chain is great and very durable and the lock is easy to set, you can change the code if needed. It is also light enough to carry with your bike.

Very strong and well made covered by the sock to prevent scratches. Very nice produce, well made, but a little bigger than I was expecting, which is not a bad thing. Recommended!
