Not what was portrayed

Photo and description very misleadingImage shown shows much thicker willow branchesActual are much smaller and barely provide any privacyI am very disappointed

Pros
  • Patio, Lawn & Garden
Cons
  • Difficult to install for those inexperienced in fencing

Do not go here! good for me

Do not buy this "air fence with a few misshapen twigs." The skinny twigs are so far apart you can see right through it. The wire that weaves it together is cheap, coarse, irregular and clumsily applied. I had seen many charming willow twig fences in DIY shows. This screen is not attractive, not effective as a screen, and so flimsy with crooked and broken twigs. The gaps are often wider than the twigs themselves. I am very disappointed, but I hope to save others from the hassle of…

Pros
  • Banded with galvanized wire for durability
Cons
  • Could be more expensive compared to other garden fencing options

easy fix to the see-through problem

I bought this to put behind a small garden pond in my back yard. As other reviewers have pointed out, the willow pieces have some space between them which allows you to see what's behind the fence. I simply got some black landscape cloth and used black plastic zip ties to attach it firmly to the willow--a quick, easy fix to the see-through problem. This fence is exactly what I was looking for and I've received many compliments.

Pros
  • Worked out great for my spa area Good if adding to a fence
Cons
  • doesn't provide the privacy we wanted. We can still see through the fence.

Beach feel, yet sturdy

Beautiful. Exactly as expected. So sturdy! We attached this to an existing un-aesthetically pleasing fence our neighbors put up, and it makes such a difference. Very beach appropriate look, which is what we need.

Pros
  • Provides soft shade under arbors or pergolas
Cons
  • Can be easily bent or damaged

Not as pictuted or described

The item I received was not as pictured, or described. The spaces between the sticks are at least twice as wide as the sticks. Does not provide any privacy at all.

Pros
  • Offers peace of mind and security
Cons
  • May require regular repainting or maintenance to prevent rusting

Wire is Shiny Silver! It looks awful! Does oes it age?

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to age this wire so it doesn't stand out so much? Does it age darker where it is not so noticeable? That's my main complaint .

Pros
  • Prevents pets from escaping
Cons
  • May not be compatible with pre-existing garden features or structures

Instant, attractive, easy to set up

I have many reasons why I really like the rolled willow fencing and I will lost those first. Then I will list some of the negative things I notice about the fence. Pro's: lightweight, easy to set up, can set up in a few minutes, can be attached to chain link fencing, wood fencing, and sturdy stakes. Wire, zip ties, twine or tension wire allow you to attach the fence to an area, they are resistant to weather, they offer a attractive way to camoflauge an ugly chain link fence, they are affordable

Pros
  • Natural look blends with any setting
Cons
  • You could see right through these. Afforded no privacy at all.

Not as pictured good for me

This fencing's willow branches are much smaller than in picture and there is a much larger gap. Bought as a privacy fence and you can see right through it. Craftsmanship is nice, just spacing problem.

Pros
  • This is a nice fence , and it went up easily , I am enjoying it in my back yard!
Cons
  • Pretty crappy cover not very denseTo expensive

Does not work as privacy screen

The sticks are in good condition but they are held together by a silver wire in which you can see clearly, taking away from the naturalistic view.I bought this for privacy and the spacing is too far apart thus providing no privacy. I wanted to return the product but they don't except returns so I've had to tear my hands up scrunching the sticks closer together to provide more of a privacy screen, and not just a row of sticks to look at.

Pros
  • Affordable price point
Cons
  • Could be too flimsy to protect against vandalism or break-ins

Beautiful addition to the garden

I used this fencing to enclose my front garden. It looks lovely, lets light dapple through and doesn't close out the outside world - just filters it! It is better than I thought it would be and several neighbors have stopped by to comment on it's loveliness. I went on to buy a total of 6 rolls and will buy a couple more for next year for a back garden.

Pros
  • Can be painted to match the surroundings
Cons
  • Might not provide enough privacy for some users

Don't buy this stuff.

I purchased six rolls of this product last fall and have been very disappointed with it. As other reviewers have suggested, it is very transparent and hardly makes a screen, much less a fence. Unlike the Master Garden brand of fencing, the Gardman fencing is made of much thinner willow and the result is a very transparent material. Once installed it leaves more than 50% of the area open. It really doesn't provide much in the way of privacy. I ended up spending over $200 to buy additional…

Pros
  • Adds an extra layer of protection for children playing in the yard
Cons
  • Could be a pain to install around trees or other obstacles
