Exact replacement for my HP computer

Uses one of the fans to replace the fan in my HP PSU. A new power supply was not available from HP (2 year old PC). Post-market power supplies can become damaged or missing. Since only the fan was making noise due to worn bearings, I figured it would be easier to just replace the fan. The PC runs 24/7 with Blue Iris security software so I expect to replace this fan in another 2 years, which is fine as it takes less than 15 minutes.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Negative available

Inexpensive two wire ball bearing fan in a computer case

I used this to replace the fan in my computer's PSU which in most cases is the first to fail. A 2-wire fan of this size was needed. Ball bearings last longer than other types of fans, but they generate a little more noise. When replacing the fan, I also opted for a little more airflow and a little more power. While this fan moves more air, it is noticeably louder. It's a trade-off - for the same fan opening size, higher airflow means more noise. And ball bearings mean longer life, but a slight…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak

The fans arrived in good condition and look as good as any other fan of this type. The only thing there is. The fans don't seem to blow as hard as the fan I replaced which had the same specs. Not sure if it's a difference in the blades or something, but they just don't move the air as much.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

Easy tower PSU replacement - started rattling after 4 months :(

I built my own computer about 6 years ago and the PSU fan bearings finally started to fail. I chose them based on positive reviews and one of these replaced the noisy one in the PSU. Came back in like new condition. I think I can use another if one of the other case fans fails. So far very happy with the performance. == ===== = Update: Less than four months later the fan bearings I installed in late January started making noise I may use them for another project but now I'll buy something…

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • No

Loud computers and accessories

Works as it should but sounds like an airplane. you are so loud It was supposed to replace the downlight but I had to remove it when I realized how noisy it was.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Hard to say
