USB cables barely fit into ports. The entry holes are larger than the slots on all my computers. Tried on four different computers. The connector entrances are very difficult to align with the slot on the computer case. Looks like I'll have to use a Dremel tool.

I bought this mainly because I needed the low profile version and wanted USB 3.0 ports, but when I opened the box I actually saw a small piece Paper that tells you to connect the power supply to the board. Reading the Revain description here it says "with AC adapter attached" meaning external power is optional, but the document seems to say otherwise. Advertised as a half height compatible card, but the metal half height adapter is built upside down and will never work with every computer. When properly installed, the half-height adapter attaches to the PCI-E connector with a security screw, which is the opposite of what it should be. Previous reviewers have made the same claim, I wish I hadn't rolled the dice here.

Excellent USB 3.0 PCI-E card. Used in a short form factor package. The only advice I will give is to leave the drive available as a hard drive or back it up as an ISO image. You will definitely need drivers for later. The card is excellent, the transfer speed is excellent, overall A++.

I have never been so frustrated and embarrassed with an add-on board. Installed in PCI-E slot on HP s5747c Pavilion Slimline running Windows 10 (Creators Update) to attempt USB 3.0 speeds. Tried the drivers that came with it, windows drivers, bought internal cables to power the card and this is what I got: USB 2.0 devices work fine with it. As mentioned, the screw holes on the low bracket seem to be in the wrong place. The USB ports are on the side, which I liked, but they're a bit wider than the mounting slots, some USB cables are too wide and don't even plug in. I plugged in a standard USB mouse, but again it failed to recognize the device. I was able to connect it twice but both times it disconnected immediately.
