I'll get these again next year.

I took it one size up as suggested and it fits perfectly. My son usually wears a size 12 and I took a size 13. I like that they are not bulky and lightweight compared to most kids boots. My son wore them in the rain and his feet stayed dry so they are waterproof. We haven't had really cold temperatures yet, so I don't know how they will do in freezing temperatures, but I bought him wool socks anyway.

Not warm enough

I bought these boots in the summer and since it's December we had enough time to test them. Yes these boots are indeed waterproof and if you order a size up (as stated in the description) they fit perfectly. Another big plus is that they are very easy to put on and take off. However, they are not warm at all. The description says they are good down to -35 degrees and it has been 20F for the past few weeks and my kids feet are cold all the time despite the thick wool socks. I don't recommend…

Suitable for softer, drier winters

A major advantage of these snowshoes over bulky snowshoes is that the thinner and more flexible sole allows toddlers to walk and play as if they were wearing sneakers. They also insulate where thicker snowshoes would be too warm. The disadvantage of a thinner and more flexible sole is that it does not provide enough thermal insulation when walking on snow. Rainy days and their socks come out warm and slightly damp (some still sweat, although the perforated upper allows for better ventilation)…

Cons
  • No Assault Rifle
