Works perfectly, functions are very limited

Works perfectly but gives no quantitative results, only three conditions: free air, low pollution, high pollution. It's not clear what this means in practice, so it can only be used to monitor changes in air quality and not actual conditions. The problem isn't with the Grove board per se, but with the sensor they used to detect it - it has very limited capabilities.

Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Just got this yesterday and after a few hours of running it has stabilized somewhat. Documentation says it lasts 48 hours but a fairly constant reading in less than 24. Very sensitive as I'm a smoker and picks up cigarette smoke in my room. Tested by simply breathing on it and also recognizes it very well. Butane light is easy to see even at 6 inches. The sensor recovers in less than 2 minutes. So far I'm happy with its performance and the code can be found on the Grove and Adafruit website…

Cons
  • Socket required
