Bought these for my 9 year old daughter for Christmas. She had just gone up to a size 5 so I bought her a size 5. We received it in just a few days and while it fit, there wasn't really room to grow so we sent it back and ordered a size 5½. Revain took ages to ship the second set so had to order elsewhere to get here in time for the party but I would say it fits true to size but if you need room to grow order half size more.
