I love these cases, they do what I need them to do. My goal wasn't to protect the controllers from damage, but to make sure the battery cover pops open when I put my hand inside. VR games. They're tricky to put on at first as the strap has to be threaded through a small hole at the bottom, but once you're done with them you won't have to do it again.
