Does not work with accessory

My computer meets the listed requirements to communicate with Oculus Quest 2. I installed the Oculus app and tried to sync it with my headset several times but failed.

Pros
  • Test & Work: Works great with Oculus Link, Oculus Quest, Oculus Quest 2. (Tested with Oculus Quest and Quest 2 on PC.) Please confirm the update of Qculus Quest/Quest 2 and the Oculus Home App on V20 and above before plugging in the cable and adapter. And free up PC memory before using the Oculus Link as it requires a lot of memory to work.

As advertised; strong, thick.

Charges well. The cable is incredibly thick and strong, almost bulky. I'm not using it for its intended purpose, I wanted a very long cord with a 90ยบ plug to charge the phone while in use. Sometimes it gets a little awkward when I rotate the phone and don't want the cord to bend, but that's user awkwardness; It's not the fault of the cable or its purpose. If you're using it with a phone, be aware that a thin phone with a thin case leaves some wiggle room for the charger to wiggle. This canโ€ฆ

Doesn't work well with Virtual Reality (VR) headsets

Intermittent power outages

I am using this computer to connect my computer to Quest 2 via Oculus Link. I switched from a regular 16ft cable as I needed a little longer. I'm getting random disconnects when playing VR games. The headset says it's disconnected from the PC, reconnects almost immediately and prompts me to activate Link. Definitely takes you out of the experience. My 16ft cable never did that. The rest of the cable is good. Looks pretty solid, I like the braided cable better than the rubber/plastic ones likeโ€ฆ
