Sena Universal Speakers Helmet Accessories Review

After looking at the ear pocket I decided on the narrow version. The sound quality is much better than my original Sena speakers. I have an HJC RPHA 90 helmet that works perfectly inside. The instructions were a little vague so I just watched the YouTube video.

Recently bought a new helmet due to unscheduled removal ;) I had a Shoei RF1200 with a Sena 20D and replaced it with a Shoei GT Air II with a Sena built in -Headset. That's why I switched my 20D to a biker helmet and despite having an open face, minimal padding and whatnot. I still think the 20D is better than the built-in Shoei GT Air II headset. So yes, the new mount for the 20D was worth it!

Clamp/base kit works great! I have a Sena 20S on another helmet and only need the music when I'm riding off-road. With this kit I can easily detach my 20S and move it around as I please. The kit comes with all clamps and microphones, as does the large complete kit (except for the Sena unit itself, of course). The thin speakers are well hidden, you don't even feel them. I have nothing to add to what has already been said. This is a must have for anyone looking to add a Sena system to any helmet. I installed it on my Bell Rogue helmet and installed it in less than 10 minutes. I didn't like the thin speakers that came with it since I installed my original ones so I use headphones instead of headphones for this Bell helmet and I liked their setup. Includes the same parts as the original Sena 20S Evo box I previously purchased. Many details that I will never use seem like a waste of time. Of course everything is included in the kit except for the communication unit itself. It took two people and at least an hour to figure out how to do it (maybe a little swearing) to install the clamp on the Shoei RF-1400.
