I used this to install field screws on the deck. It took me a while to set him up, but after that he never fouled again. It set my depth perfectly every time and I used the 2x6 as a ruler to make it easier to line up my shots. I turned 900 screws in 35 minutes without ever breaking a sweat or kneeling. As I started driving a row of screws, I held the trigger down until the entire row was screwed in. That worked best. I know I can drive faster. I won't install another deck without it.
I had a big project to do. New 1/2" subfloor on 1750 sq. ft. Feet to reinforce original sponge OSB subfloor. I'm not getting any younger and found this screwdriver after seeing it on a home renovation TV show. The price was right and after reading the instructions it was verified. WOW that's easy on the back and saves a lot of time! I use a square head screwdriver and 1 1/4" screws. The magazine is easy to load and you can pierce 50 bolts before you realize it. I was building a tongue and groove base extension and although this tool could have saved my back. All I can say is why didn't I get this sooner? I've built and renovated five houses and it would save me so much time, not to mention the fences I built. The tool is very easy to set up and use. I screwed the 4x8 underbody panel in 1/3 the time, at least I had to use a standard screwdriver and screws. Screws are more expensive, but the ease and speed make up for the extra cost.
