I was building a tongue and groove base extension and although this tool could have saved my back. All I can say is why didn't I get this sooner? I've built and renovated five houses and it would save me so much time, not to mention the fences I built. The tool is very easy to set up and use. I screwed the 4x8 underbody panel in 1/3 the time, at least I had to use a standard screwdriver and screws. Screws are more expensive, but the ease and speed make up for the extra cost. It comes in a very nice pouch, but the shape of the tool makes it a bit awkward to store. A few words about the tools after I've installed 400 sq ft of subfloor, 1000 sq ft of sheathing and 120 sq ft of decking: 1. Sometimes when you go at an angle, the screw doesn't go all the way in. For example there is only 1/4" of 2x4 in your skin, I would hand tighten the screws. 2. The back/forward button is not in the best spot. When I loaded the screws I accidentally put it folded backwards.. didn't know this and was going crazy because the screws wouldn't go in. any serious DIY enthusiast or has a big project (e.g. new patio, fence, etc.)
