These colors are great! I used Simply Simmons synthetic brushes and Strathmore cold-pressed paper and was able to create beautiful paintings with these colors. I love how you can increase the intensity of the colors so the images never look cluttered.

At $31, it was worth it. It's better than the Koi and Cotman water colors. The colors are wet (with honey), bright and perfectly distributed in the water. I've only had her for a few days, but she's already drawn so much! I'm falling in love again with watercolor. It's so nice to have a portable, inexpensive, and high-quality palette.

I saw a review of Frugalcrafter and Mind of Watercolor on YouTube and they both love Sennelier. This is a watercolor style I love doing so this is a great set for it. I left it open overnight and it hasn't cracked or dried out. I like that there are many mixing fountains. You can also remove the top to reveal more empty space if you want more mixing surface.

I recently bought a small set of Artist Sennelier Painters and they were fantastic so I bought them because some previous reviewers said they were almost the same as Artist Sennelier Painters. I tried them today and they feel very different. Rather chalky or sandy. Doesn't have the incredible flow and magic of the original. Quite good for the price but probably not a good buy if you want the real deal.

I was so excited when they arrived. I saw a few reviews about it and they all said good things about it. I was a bit disappointed by the fact that when I first opened the palette some of the halves weren't fully attached to the slots they fitted in so they got mixed up. I'm a relatively new watercolor painter but I've tried several brands and paint sets to find the one that suits me. These are beautiful colors, although I find the earthy tones a bit weaker overall. Color isn't captured as easily as Van Gogh, but still good enough. The plastic case is nice and I prefer it over metal cans, but note that it has a curved plastic locking system rather than a proper hinge mechanism, so it can just wear out over time. I painted with the Sennelier Aqua Mini and decided to buy it (because of the price) before diving into Sennelier and buying full tubes of Sennelier (which I will no doubt do).
