I'm tired of buying cheap wired in-ear headphones only to break them after a few months of use. I decided it was time to invest in a pair that could last me at least a year. I took the plunge and bought these Sennheiser headphones as I've had a lot of experience with their full size headphones in the past. Lo and behold, these headphones are actually worse than any previous cheap pair I've ever bought. Any movement of the cord near the headphone jack will mute the sound. It started about 3 days

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Out of style

Very strong headphones.

I had a lot of headphones. Sennheiser, Klipsch, Skullcandy, Beats, all sorts. I'm not really loyal to any brand and I liked most of these products. These babies survived 2 wash and dry cycles and are still working. I used them every day for about two and a half years and they eventually broke. For those who previously had in-ear headphones, 2.5 years of regular and extreme use is commendable. The sound quality is very consistent and clear. The base isn't AMAZING BASIC BLAST, but it's very…

There are better ways.

I have been using Sennheiser products for 14 years and with the exception of these headphones I am a satisfied customer. So, here's what I found wrong with them: the audio started dropping due to the cable's position just behind the plug. This isn't an uncommon headphone problem, but what surprised me was how quickly it started - the fastest I've had this problem started at four months, but in this case it started in less than a week. I'm not rough with my electronics so I can only assume bad…

So I scoured the internet, read reviews of all kinds of behind-the-ear headphones and headphones. I had several Sennheiser PMX series headphones. Along with these IE60s I bought an old discontinued 685i. I've had previous 685i models and I know they fit well and don't fall off. IMO sound quality is better than IE60. I ordered and compared both and the IE60s sounded great to my ears. They were snug and I could wear them for a long time with no discomfort in my ears. But they didn't have BASS…

I'm a big fan of Sennheiser headphones, I own a pair of HD650s and several pairs of headphones and earphones. This pair is pretty good, but with some caveats. Sound Quality (4.5/5): These headphones are crisp and have a *relatively* flat spectrum compared to models in this price range. However, I have found that they tend to boost low frequency sounds a little more than my Etymotic Research monitors. Sound isolation (3/5): These headphones are not designed for perfect sound isolation. However…

Good generalists! INFLUENCE! fur cord.

I have to start this review by saying these are my first good headphones but before that I listened to budget to mid-range full size headphones I had or heard from friends (HD558, CB-1, M40X, K182, MDR-1ABT, HE-400i and K7XX). I'm not a very respected audio reviewer with years of experience, but I've heard and enjoyed a few different banks, so I'm writing this review as a medium-budget audio enthusiast. They are made entirely of plastic but are well built, more than good for everyday use…

Pros
