Pure OTHER! - Square Nose

These tips are absolute junk. When cutting aluminum, they break at the slightest side load. May be good for foam or softwood, but NOT for cutting hardwood or aluminum. SAVE MONEY!

Superb aluminum cutter

FWIW, I used it on my CNC router (1 inch sticking out of the collet) at the following feeds/speeds and it cut great: 3000 rpm, 10.4 feed in. /min cut.050 step up Climb cut

Works good for the money

I am very happy with these cutters. They held up well on softer lubricated grades and could pass through hardened grades with some toolpath tweaking. I did my job and got a good result in the end. Pretty good for the money as I'm a casual user and don't need to invest a lot in tools for my hobby.

Good value for money

I am very pleased with these cutters. They held up well on softer lubricated alloys and could drive through hardened alloys with some trajectory refinement. Overall they did their job and I got a good result in the end. Pretty good for the money, especially since I'm a casual user and don't need to invest a lot in tools for my hobby.

Low Cost Router Bits for Aluminum

These router bits are great for desktop CNC aluminum milling machines. For the price you get 5 bits which is nice. The only downside to these bits is that they are not coated and therefore wear out relatively quickly compared to coated bits. But otherwise I have no other complaints. After a 0.002" finishing pass I was able to achieve a very smooth veneer surface.

Low Cost Prototyping Product

I've just started using my SainSmart desktop CNC but needed an upcut end mill for an aluminum project. These end mills did a great job on my project. The desktop CNC design is a bit lacking, so I can only cut 0.005 deep per pass. I ran one of these end mills for about 100 hours and there was no real change in cut quality. I broke an end mill when a part came loose while cutting, but that was my own fault for not setting my material properly.
