The purchase brought only positive emotions.

Pros below: Oh, God - I bought these ears a year ago for just a hundred from the city link (bow to him). Among the dynamic headphones that I have, of the competitors, only Denon 9200. But 300 ohm and 25, in this case, it's like an old single malt scotch and a blend product from a well-known and conscientious manufacturer: quality, taste, design, but without that noble tone , which you look for all your life and keep its aftertaste as a criterion for other tastings. The HD 820 captures the richn

A really necessary purchase, glad I found this product.

Headphones are better to listen to on the appropriate equipment - worthy components will allow you to unlock the potential of these ears.

Pros
  • - The sound is very transparent and at the same time full-bodied. You immediately notice the division by instruments - there is no former porridge. Gorgeous scene. There is detail - as in open headphones, while there is bass - as in a closed design. The engineers did a great job! - You don't get tired in headphones - you can listen for hours. The ear pads are not tight - they fit perfectly on the head. - Includes three cables - two balanced and a regular jack. - Chic wooden box for storing headphones and cables.
Cons
  • Yes, they are not, except for the price .

Everything about the product satisfied me, the price is perfect.

They have some unique features that no other earphones have, so for me this purchase was worth it. You buy these headphones not when you are looking for a bank for the buck, but when you are ready to pay any amount of money for a thing that will suit you perfectly. In terms of design and comfort, I have not seen anything better. In terms of sound, this is audiophile tuning, aimed at making any music of any quality sound excellent in them, and as a side effect - there will be no absolute…

Pros
  • Design, comfort and sound - personally for my very subjective taste, in the aggregate it is the best that I have seen and heard. Closed headphones with a very spacious stage - they have no analogues in this
Cons
  • Price - there are headphones 5-10 times cheaper that individually have better bass than these, or better vocal reproduction, or better neutrality, but not all at once. Vocals need to be raised with EQ, without it they sound pretty faded.

INCREDIBLY best headphones

Fantastic quality. almost surreal. a sound that I have come to know as typically Sennheiser over the decades. It's rare to hear sound this way. . Well made, quality in every way.

Pros
  • Sturdy build
Cons
  • Small issues

HD800 or HD820? In-ear headphones

With HDVD800 as amplifier I bought HD650 (6 years ago), HD800 (4 years?) and HD820 (1 year?) (All HD8XXs use the official XLR Sennheiser -3) . Overall experience has shown that the HD800 performs better than the HD820. So my conclusion is that if you don't use a headset in a noisy environment, the HD800 is a better choice. Perhaps the HD820 is better suited to an office environment.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • No color required

Great phones, but plan your wedding first

When I told my wife I was going to spend over $2,000 on a pair of headphones (that's $1,000 per ear, by the way), she burst out laughing . Then I actually bought her and she hasn't stopped yelling at me ever since. This is where the closed-back design of these phones really comes into its own. If you're determined to buy something so insanely expensive, why not buy something that will filter out criticism and allow you to listen to brilliantly high quality music? It's just efficiency if you ask

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Clarity

The item delivered was not a NEW item as advertised!

Sennheiser 820 is a great product! But you don't want to pay a new price for a used product. The item sent to me has been unpacked. The cables have not been configured as a new block. The extra set of cables was not in the product box, it was just thrown in the shipping box. In the box with the headphones was a coupon for a free set of balanced cables. After checking with Sennheiser who didn't accept the voucher even though it was issued by them. The problem was that the promotion ended over…

Excellent headphones, not a direct replacement for the HD800

Okay, I have both the HD820 and HD800S. I combine them with the Chord Hugo 2. To my ears, these are very different headphones in terms of sound. My original plan was to get an HD820 and sell my HD800 but after hearing the HD820 I couldn't get rid of the 800, why? because they give you a completely different experience. The HD800s are more technical and detailed headphones with a very large soundstage - the HD820s are more musical, more intimate and the music sounds closer than the HD800s. that…

Let's talk about the price.

So I don't write many reviews. I have a good set of headphones including 58x, dt770, dt1990 pro and these. I was looking for some isolation as I live in a large family and my computer is in the living room. When I saw the HD-820 I was blown away, I thought they looked really cool. Then I looked at the price and oh the money. My wife somehow managed to get them for me as a main gift. The wearing comfort was not very good at first. I have a big head and my earlobes touched the pads on the bottom.

TOTL Endgame but depends on the source! Like Teal, I'm out!

I'm semi-retired but on the road again and fly weekly all the time. I've been buying quality headphones between $500 and $2800 for years. Offer. I spend hours reading reviews, analyzing cables and daps. I only use most things briefly, sell them at a loss and look for the next great sound. For me it's important to be on the road 80% of the time to be able to listen to music at home when I'm on the go because when I travel it's my life. So as I know I have Sennheiser, Oppo, Focal, Sony, Audeze…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky
