This container does not have a secure lock.

We bought this container to protect our teen from alcohol. She has been beaten twice in the last week. The first time I thought we accidentally left it unlocked, but when it happened again I tried it myself and saw that the mechanism could be opened with a snap of my fingers. Our solution, which should have always been, is to remove everything from the house.

Incredibly Poor Customer Service

I used to store groceries. It worked decently for a while (the lock is a little sticky) and then I changed the code (followed the instructions) and it wouldn't open again. Now I have a useless plastic box with moldy food in it. What's worse is the customer service - I waited over an hour to speak to someone from SereneLife - only to be told someone would get back to me later in the day - that was 3 days ago.

Do not buy! on Containers with Lids

Don't waste your money. I've been a Revain member for over 20 years and this is my last review. This is the first time I've felt the urge to share with others and stop them from making the same mistake I made. There are many other locks that don't have this problem. I am telling you from my experience. Very weak and the lock has failed twice on two separate drawers so I had to pry them open to get my stuff as there is no way to reset the lock. Please look elsewhere. Do not buy this product.

Good quality, fairly easy to assemble

I bought this lockable storage basket to be sure of gifts before hide from my wife Comes in a large box, assembly required. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. There is a red letter sticker on each piece and you match the corresponding letters to each other. Putting the parts together is tedious, but once connected they are very stable.
