Most uncomfortable chair ever!

Thought I'd treat myself to a $300 chair. Most uncomfortable chair ever! Smart Layers The 5-layer cushioning system appears to be foam-coated plastic tubing. The seat cushion initially felt "bouncy” and soft, but after a week my buttocks and lower back started to hurt. I was in so much pain after 6 months that I sent this chair to the garage after it started leaning to the left. I'm 5ft 8in, 140lbs and I spend about 8 hours in a chair in my home office, pacing frequently, and have never had…

Was in good condition for about 6 months then fell apart.

My last office chair was a Serta and I really liked this chair, it lasted 3 years and was just great. This new Serta isn't like that at all, not even close. After 6 months, the seat cushion became flat and quite hard, it also put a lot of pressure on the legs and restricted blood circulation. No lumbar support after 6 months. And now the best part is that the base of the chair leans and flexes heavily to the left. To the point where I expect to hear a pop and be on the floor while typing this…

Buy it at Walmart and save about $50

SO this $250 chair is $188-200 at Walmart. It is very low and the armrests are too low in relation to the seat and backrest, they are unusable when typing at the table. It seems to me that whoever designed the chair asked a teenager to sit on the chair to design it, not design the chair. good for writing at the table, good for sitting, that's all. Because the armrests aren't designed for every type of desk typing, your wrists and forearms will tire quickly. So you're trading back support for…

how does he smell . like skin.

I would rate this chair 4.5 out of 5. I just received this chair and assembled it with no problems. This is the first time I'm sitting in a chair and writing this review. My butt is comfortable. Adjustable lumbar support ranges from negative lumbar support to good firm lower back support. (Wish it was a little bigger) The reason for only -0.5 stars (apart from the lumbar support area) is that the warranty information seems a bit sketchy and is very difficult to find online. First, the warranty…

Super Comfortable Home Office Furniture

When COVID forced me to work from home, I realized very quickly that my 5-year-old office chair wouldn't hold up. After some research I decided on this chair. Since I got the chair, my back doesn't hurt anymore and I can adjust my lumbar spine as needed. I have sat in this chair every day for the past 5 months and the seat shows no signs of flattening out. This chair has some disadvantages. First, one of the screw holes in the lumbar support adjustment knob is dirty and I can't get the second…

Chair is ok fine workmanship poor back pad design

Update: Less than a year later the large metal bracket that holds the wheel base to the chair has a tear down the center on one side so now the chair is tipping in one direction and needs to be replaced. The seat pad is still good, but overall this chair sucks. My opinion on this chair is really mixed. The seat cushion is one of the thickest and most durable I've seen. Although it does start to sag a bit over time, it's still significantly better than most chairs and still has padding after a…

It's a very good chair, so far

If a chair lasts 5 years, it's a good chair. I can sit at my desk up to 14 hours a day, seven days a week. I do IT support, and even when I'm not working, I sit in my chair at my desk and wait for a call. I own a company and have an office and my office is quite nice so I spend a lot of time in it whether I'm working or not. It is on my property in a self contained building and from there I handle all the networking, entertainment etc for the main house. So when I'm not working, I often sit at…
