Bought two of these (3 months apart). The first was perfect. The second has never "inflated" properly and is mostly flat (ie, irregularly shaped).

I know it's for babies or seniors who can't roll out of bed but we found it worked well under pulled up sheets to separate the bed . It helped after the operation when it would be inappropriate to roll on the woman.

This bed rail set is just what we needed to keep our little one safe while he sleeps on our bed! They are big and strong enough to stop our little one from rolling out of bed, but also soft so it doesn't scare or hurt him when he rolls over in it. I also LOVE how easily they slide under the sheets! They also store really well under our bed or on our closet floor - would definitely recommend them!

Bought based on the reviews and it's perfect. To keep my little Yorkie from falling out of bed. She uses the ramp to get up and down so I had to trim the lid about 2 inches to give her access to the ramp. It was easy to do with a needle and thread and just slide the foam back in. It really does slip off when she's doing her circus tricks, so a couple of spiral rock pins kept it in place. I finished this by covering it with a folded coordinating flat sheet. Yahoo! Problem solved!

After our blind 16+ year old Doxy fell out of bed twice (no injury! He has extra padding!) I bought these bumpers and they worked! He is an affectionate dog that needs to be protective and love his people and also needs close contact which is why he is on the bed! The problem is that he is an old man, he goes to bed at 7 or 8 before us! One on the side, one on the bottom and pillows on the other side protect him! So it was worth it! I'm sure they're great for hairless kids too!

I've been hesitant to try them going from crib to bed. I didn't think they would be effective in stopping my very active sleep. But after destroying 2 traditional bed rails there was nothing to lose. It works great, it's covered with a sheet so it can't be destroyed. After a few months of use it has not lost its shape. I think it's better than nothing and serves as a tactile/visual reminder of the edge of the bed. This can be useful when traveling with older children. However, if your child is small and/or sleeps restlessly, it can still roll easily. It offers neither security nor protection. Nothing holds it in place and every morning we find it hanging from the edge of the bed (still under the sheet). Much better with side rails. which we also have. They're lightweight, inexpensive, and work great.

We've always had a problem with the pillows on our bed falling into the gap between the mattress and the metal headboard. I saw them when I was looking for a new mattress topper and thought "why not" because they are not that expensive. Wow, they really work!
