I have seen and sat on many Eames style chairs over the years but these certainly are the best. The meticulous packing, ease of assembly, solid feel, perfect look and a white that will not eventually make the chairs look like a garage sale item, make these the best for dining and even a simple cool chair sitting most anywhere.

As some others have mentioned, the seat on these chairs has cracked less than a year since owning them with regular use for maybe 2 meals/day, with average weight people using them. I reached out to the company nearly 2 months ago about a replacement chair or parts because the chairs are supposed to have a lifetime warranty. Already had 4 of these and ordered 2 more for additional needed seating. They are easy to clean and stylish. Easy to put together. Only crisis that the bolts underneath have to be adjusted/tightened fairly often or will come off. This really isn’t a big deal. Would purchase again.

I ordered these chairs to replace some old dining chairs. I am giving them two stars because of their condition out of the box. At first the packaging seems adequate for shipping. They come in a pack of two and it appears that the manufacturer has made reasonable attempts to protect them in shipping. These chairs are comfortable and strong. Very good quality materials. This style of chair is available at a range of prices; UrbanMod was reasonably priced and I can't see how any others could be better quality. (Only if you really wanted a fiberglass seat -- and the ABS is plenty strong and looks good -- would it be worth paying more, IMO.)

There are so many 'Eames inspired' mid-mod chairs out there these days, it's hard to know what to buy. The prices are great — way more competitive than in the past. But the quality varies greatly.
