Dream Paper For My Art Supplies

This art paper is a fantastic addition to the world of drawing and art supplies. According to my experience, it gives just enough texture and weight to bring a piece to life. The brightness of the sheet is perfect; it pops the colors without being too white. The paper is robust enough to handle stringy media, such as ink and watercolor proofs. Pros
  • High-quality paper with a smooth surface that allows for easy graphite or charcoal drawing.
Cons
  • Appearance

I'm not sure Strathmore will ever end up in museums.

I'm not sure Strathmore will ever be on display in museums, but I've always preferred her papers for my attempts at self-expression. I'm a pure hobbyist but I have to say this brand has always worked really well for me.

Pros
  • Art Paper
Cons
  • Rosette required

Like a drawing on almost velvet. Love it!

I keep this paper for actual drawings, not for practice (I use sketchbooks). That's why I take bigger books for drawing than for sketching because I usually do quick research somewhere else first (sometimes those quick studies are my favorites).

Pros
  • Drawing paper
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
