You are doing a great job keeping my potatoes from sprouting! Exactly the solution I was looking for. My onions are fine too, but my previous problem was really just potatoes.

These bags appear to be built to last. They have ties at the top and a zip at the bottom for easy access to potatoes/onions. The black lining keeps both fresh. Generally excellent so far!

Very well made pockets like side zip, drawstring at top and dark lining. So far the onions and potatoes are looking good. The onion is still firm without mold, it is stored for more than 3 weeks. The potatoes still look good without the eyes.

They work and make it easy to clean up all that onion paper clutter. The side zip makes access very easy and allows you to always use the oldest onions or potatoes first when refilling the top of the bag. Also, they are cute!

Besides being the cutest thing money can buy. Durable thick fabric, ties at top, zip at bottom. Very convenient. Potatoes and onions do not need to be refrigerated. Keeps them fresher for much longer. I live in a hot and humid area and this was a money saver.

These Potato and Onion Bags are made from heavy canvas material and really save the lives of potatoes and onions. After years of sprouting or spoiling, these pouches will extend the life of both. They have a drawstring closure for easy hanging and free up shelf space. Very happy with this purchase.

There is another layer of fabric on the side of the bag that looks like black fabric. Because it has a side zipper, it's easy to pull out just an onion or potato. This is a good size for a family of 3. I could put 3 onions in a back and 3 potatoes in a potato sack. I hope it can be stored well without rotting and sprouting soon. If you have a large family you might think this is a bit small.

I keep these bags in a cool dark closet. I noticed stains on the bottom of the potato sack. The potatoes started to sprout and spoil much quicker than I expected. I had to throw away the spoiled potatoes; but I will give the sprouting potatoes a chance to compete in nature in the garden. The jury's still on the onion bag. Of course, we cook onions much more often than potatoes. So the onion is better stored. I wish the pockets were bigger as they give a great idea for organization.

This is a great idea, they are very strong and durable. I love that there is a zipper on the side so you can access the potatoes and onions from the bottom first since they are the oldest. However, after 6 months of use, I can say with confidence that these packs, at least in my case, are speeding up the decomposition of my onions and potatoes. I've had onions and potatoes in baskets side by side (which you shouldn't) and stored for weeks - with these bags my onions spoil and my potatoes go…
