This plastic spout will never be as durable as the stainless steel spout they used to sell. These plastic bottles break easily. And sure enough, they cracked and broke in less than 2 months. See update notes below. Update: 08/18/2020. See attached picture. The thin lid cracked and fell off. I bought it on 06/2020 and cracked it on 08/2020.

I bought these for simple syrup and olive oil and they work great. The cork stays in place and the spout is easy to open and close. The only thing I was disappointed with was the body of the cork, and the spout is all plastic. It may have been said in the description but it works so can't complain. I bought stainless steel grommets to replace the plastic but they don't fit the bottle neck so it was a waste of money.

Set of 2 bowls allows you to use it however you like. As you can see in the photo, I use them for two oils that I use in my cooking - canola oil (or any other oil for frying) and extra virgin olive oil. I keep square glass bottles ready to hand on the worktop, where they also beautify the kitchen. I love that the stainless steel grommets have these little black caps that are easy to put on and take off. They are easy to clean with hot soapy water. And for the price it was a great buy.

Excellent bottles, large size, excellent constant jet of oil when dosing. Simply remove covers and clean everything. Edit 7/2017: I changed my mind about these bottles because the spouts fell apart quite often. Everything about them is just pressed together and now that everything is covered in oil they don't hold together easily. Once a week or two I have to collect them by hand to make sure there are no leaks in the neck of the bottle or the air hose with the stopper. I wouldn't buy them…

I've read a few reviews of other dispensers with poor quality and crappy seals. It doesn't apply to these. I've been using them every day for over a month now and they're great. The spout goes well with the class, it is comfortably large in the hand and looks very nice. I washed them inside and out when they arrived by soaking them in soapy water for about 30 minutes and they took a long time to dry inside, but that's typical because the air hole is intentionally small.
