Seventh Generation Citric Acid Dishwasher Detergent Gel, Lemon Scent, 42 oz (6 Pack) Review

As a result of using this product, I found that it left my dishes greasy and filmy. While it did have a pleasant lemon scent, it did nothing to actually clean my dishes. Plus, it is more expensive than other brands that actually work. Save your money and skip this one.

I refuse any other dishwashing gel. I've tried every eco-friendly brand so far and have been frustrated with how poorly they clean. There was always residue from other gels. I like other seventh generation products and tried this one and it cost about 6 bottles. We kept noticing a thick film on our glasses, which we could also feel as a sticky residue on our fingers. The thought that we could drink this film while drinking water from our glasses was sickening. The film is so difficult to put down. Brushing and rewashing did little to remove the sediment. We've tried to use less detergent on each load and barely fill our dishwasher's detergent dispenser to the brim.
