Totally useless

What can I say? This is easily one of the worst paper towels I have ever used. It consists of a wafer-thin, single-layer material. That means I have to double down to use normally. For something harder? 4x is required. Even then it is not satisfactory. When it hits water it just loses its shape (everything it had) and then shrinks. In summary I would not recommend it. Maybe if they give it for free I would consider it. But even then, it'll be hard to sell: it's too flimsy like a paper towel…

The worst. paper towels. JE.

There are literally the worst paper towels I've ever used. Easily on par with dollar store paper towels or the cheapest quality paper towels. I bought because I was low on supplies and couldn't find paper towels at local stores due to COVID. When I saw this in stock and got good reviews I ordered. I usually use Bounty or Bounty Basic. This is still below the quality of generosity. They are thin and difficult to separate from the roll, and at the same time they fall apart when used wet to wipe…

Eco-Friendly / Good Enough

I usually buy Bounty Essentials paper towels so I compare 7th generation paper towels to these. Both are a scaled down version of the full thickness paper towel and both come in a size range option. The weight and thickness of each appear to be the same. The 7th generation towels are embossed on one side only. The other side is flat. The bounty is stamped everywhere. In the 2nd photo I held them up to the light. The 7th generation towels are slightly thicker. Then I soaked some water in each…

Good, especially for eco-friendly ones.

These paper towels definitely make it. I appreciate having more tear strips for half width towels. While the 7th generation towels aren't the most absorbent paper towels I've ever used, they still do their job well and won't fall apart when cleaning up spills. They're more expensive than other options at Revain, but I haven't found a better eco-friendly paper towel, no matter the price. I used to use bulky Bounty quilted paper towels that absorb a ton of liquid per towel. When I started reading

Recycled paper towels are worse for you than regular paper towels

I've been buying this brand's towels and other products made from recycled paper towels for years, until I decided to investigate BPA and phthalates in recycled products. I originally bought these to avoid the dioxins in regular paper towels, but found that all of these types of paper products STILL contain dioxins. Then I found all the studies on BPA/phthalates/plastics found in HIGH levels in recycled paper products. This makes sense since cardboard, receipts and a host of other "recycled”…
