🧵 Lacis Sewing Machine Needle Threader Tool Review

Okay I have to admit that I started 'trying' this needle threader without reading the instructions (it looks so intuitive) and didn't progress quickly. After about 15 minutes of no avail, in frustration I decided to read it! In no time I discovered what I was doing WRONG and moments later the needle was threaded. Good product!

I'm sewing something with a very slippery thread, so it's a little harder to use (not 100% successful) than cotton/poly thread, but the secret is to keep it taut. Much better than those bent wire disposables and much faster. Saves me a lot of trouble, keep it close to the car, maybe need to buy another one for my other car!

I couldn't seem to get it to work so I looked it up and checked how it was supposed to work, I saw it was a good idea what to do had to was that the needle pushing the thread through the hole just didn't want to hook the thread maybe if the thread was bulkier or who knows so try at your own expense good luck to you. If I were to buy again I would try the more expensive model and keep the box to return if needed.

This cheap little tool saves lives. I can't see well up close, so trying to thread a needle in my old typewriter was a crazy experience. I bought this and boy did it help. Had no problems with the Supermart but this needle threader was 'upgraded' from the original I used with an old Kenmore I bought voluntarily. This is one of the needle threaders where you put the thread over the needle, then thread it into the needle and gently push until the small food pin pushes the thread through the eye of the needle.
