Easy and Effective Sewing Marking Tool

As a result of using this product I found that it was easy to use and effective in marking fabric for sewing. The markings wash out easily with water, leaving no residue. The only downside is that the markings may not be as visible on darker fabrics. Overall, a great addition to any sewing TOOL collection..

Pros
  • Easy to use and create precise markings on fabric
Cons
  • Marks may fade quicker than other types of marking tools

Disappointing Marking Pencils for Sewing

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, these pencils left a residue on my fabric that was impossible to remove .The colors also faded quickly, making it difficult to follow markings. The only positive aspect was the ease of use but it was not worth the frustration of ruined fabric..

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Leaves residue, colors fade quickly

Unique use - for writing on walnut

I am a carpenter and when using walnut (koa or teak) - a darker wood - the pencil line is not very visible. I was pointed to them as a solution. The leads (white?) are software than I'm used to, but they mark dark wood quite well. I will for sure buy more.

Pros
  • Sewing tools
Cons
  • Damaged
