💧 Replacement Seychelle Alkaline Filter Pitcher Review

I am buying them for my brother and me. We know the benefits of keeping the body alkaline through diet. They are easy to use and provide enough water for our individual needs. The only thing I changed is the preparation process that is required before using it. The adapter doesn't fit my faucets, so I fill up with a large syringe and rinse the filter a few times before installing. Thank you again for providing such a compact and efficient product.

I tested my water after using these filters versus tap water and it was significantly WORSE! At first I thought it was a bug, but testing has been consistent. I've been using the jug system for 6 months now and wasted so much time because it takes so long to filter. I tested my filters that needed replacing and they were better than new replacement filters but still way worse than my regular tap water.

ph20 says it increases the alkalinity of the filtered water. Incidentally, the first two filters I tested were twice the price of a regular filter, and they did NOT change the pH AT ALL! No change, and it wasn't lye either. It has registered at level 6 several times. I used litmus paper and these strips with 3 color blocks on them. Everything came out at 6. I bought 9 filters which means I'm spending $135. The way the filters worked was no different than the standard Seychelles filters…

I am buying these for my Seychelle 4 cup water pitcher. Mine is original and uses only one filter; So this pack is enough for two refills of filters. Works as described. Very happy with the purchase. I really liked this water purifier, but because of these filters I will be looking for another water purification system. I just installed these filters not long ago and they are already dripping so slowly that I have to plan when the water is ready to use - it takes HOURS to filter a can of water. I use the product as directed: Cool tap water. The filters were easy to install. The water tastes very good but the main benefit is that it lowers the acidity so I don't have heartburn and get all the other benefits of high pH water. 200 gallons between filter changes is the best I've seen on the market. They do an excellent job of filtering out a variety of contaminants, including some harmful metals, that some conventional filters fail to remove and are known to cause colon cancer. I also appreciate the alkalizing functionality of this system. While I haven't tested post-filtering the pH of the water to make sure it's effective, it's more of an icing on the cake for me. We have been using the Seychelle water jug for 15-20 years so we are very familiar with the wetting and rinsing process. We decided to try the more expensive alkaline filters as a Christmas present. We pre-filter our tap water through Brita to remove some of the larger stuff as Seychelles clogs up too quickly if we don't.
