If it gets wet, it rusts horribly.

Each link began to rust after three days of use. A few months later it ended up in the trash. See customer picture. Buy a stainless steel product.

Good quality: collars, harnesses and leashes

Super quality! Yes, my dog weighs 8 pounds. We had to resize to fit him and we could hardly untie the chains because they were so strong and tight. I recommend!

  • Cool product
Cons

Ideal collar for walking large dogs

Size: Large 24 inch 3.5mmโ€ฆ. The perfect collar for walking a large 110 lb dog that wants to be constantly pulled. Note to new dog owners; Do not leave this collar on your dog, it is only to be used during training and walking.

Pros
  • Great overall features
Cons
  • Very expensive

Great collar on collar

My German Shepherd pulls me at the beginning of a walk even with constant commands. I finally bought a choke collar and it has made a world of difference. I use it with the "Go" command and it slows down to my pace. He's new to us, so we're still adjusting. I hope that over time I won't need it anymore, but for now it's a great learning tool. It's easy to put upside down and not too heavy. Thank you for a great product and for sending it to the Bundeswehr address.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • boring packaging

Great Product - Collars, Harnesses & Leashes

This is one of several choke collars I have for my dog. This is the smallest. My dog is around 85lbs and I was wrong in assuming I need a heavier collar like 4mm. There were times when my dog would pull his head out of a large collar. My current trainer required a 3mm 24" choke. It turns out that a lighter/smaller caliber is more prohibitive. My dog never came out. It's strong enough to hold, yet light enough to pick up my cues about its behavior. I'm a lot more confident walking with him.

Pros
  • Hands Free Operation
Cons
  • Unbelievable Price

Collar just arrived. We ordered a size 16" as our dog has a 14" neck. It feels solid when hand-pulled and the finish feels solid. The loops and chain have no seams that could easily come undone. The chain slides easily through the loop and pulls/releases as expected. The only problem is the size. This 16 inch choker is actually a 14.5 inch chain. The only way to get 16 inches is to add 2 loops at their extreme ends and that's barely 16 inches absolute total length. We expected 16 inches ofโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Very good quality
Cons
  • Negative gift

Don't leave bad reviews for products you don't understand.

Defective. You just have to know how to use them. I've added a video for reference, but I'll explain it too. If you use one of these, the first thing you need to do is make sure you choose the right size. Measure around the widest part of the dog's head, under the chin, around the back of the head and behind the ears. Then add 2 to 3 inches. Too much slack and you risk the collar coming off when the dog puts his head down. It also requires more effort when trying to fix the behavior. Too smallโ€ฆ
