You must be smarter than the tools you work with

Cheapest tool kit on the market, it has everything you need to work with several different engines and is of good quality

Good tool for working with timing belt

Tool is a good tool. My only complaint is that there was no tool to hold the crank pulley when removing and installing. This tool needs to be added. I had to think of another way to do this.

Worked with some modifications

Tools worked. I only had 2 problems. 1: I had to grind down one side of the control plate to fit the cams. 2: Nothing was labeled or there were no instructions. I didn't know what most of the tools were for.

Must check online to review application process.

Works well to keep 2.3 liter turbo cams on time during timing chain changes. It seems to work on any 2.3 liter engine. I wouldn't recommend buying a car with a 2.3 liter turbo engine - it was a pain.

Not very useful for MZ3 2.0

Of all the different tools here, the only one I could use was the specific crank positioning screw for my car. The rods that are supposed to hold the camshafts do not fit, the engine block interferes. I had to rely on the visual alignment of the camshafts, which wasn't very reassuring. If you're doing this on a Mazda 2.0 NA, good luck.

It fits all four engines

If you only work with three or four cylinder Ford engines this kit is for you. It will not fit V6 or V8 engines but appears to be very complete for any Ford/Mazda/Volvo engines that do not have crankshaft or camshaft pins or key sprockets. One complaint: you need to know what tool you're using. re-search and some of them look very similar; A guide to industry figures for tools would be useful.
