Good for baby's makeup

I let my granddaughter choose what she wanted for her birthday. It was one of the articles. It's not bad, but it's not great either. It's smaller than she expected (size was in the description but she's 8 years old and can't put it into perspective). Makeup is great for a child but not of the quality I would use as an adult. I wanted a fun cosmetic case small enough to fit in my travel bag and this product fits the bill. I love the collection of eye shadows, lip gloss, blush and contours. The colors are mostly good for my skin tone (very light), but the blush colors are not quite natural for me. Due to her small size, the eye and lip colors are very small. Liked the size. I wasn't able to open the bottom half or the sides of the compact. I've tried many times and no matter how I try, they won't open. The eyeshadows are good, I hope I can find someone who can open the rest.
