Great vacuum

Let me start by saying I LOVE this vacuum. The attic feature is amazing and makes cleaning the stairs an easy task. I have a large dog and several other pets and the shark makes vacuuming very easy. I used to have a Dyson beast and had to take it apart after every sweep to clean it. Here's my complaint about the shark. It also clogs, but the difference is that clogs are much easier to clean. The self-cleaning roller does not work, see attached photos. I had to pull out the scissors like with…

The best vacuum cleaner I've ever had!

The AZ1002 is the best vacuum I have ever owned. I have two Malamutes that have long hair and shed so much hair that they stuff a king size pillow almost every day when they shed their winter/summer coats. I have mostly ebony hardwood floors that usually have dirt on them, this vacuum does a really good job on the hardwood floors and low rugs that I have. It handles hair with ease and picks up sand-sized particles from hard floors without throwing them at your feet. It's fairly quiet and comes…

Broke after 3 months of normal use

I bought this product in November 2018. It's only early March 2019 and the piece that connects the roller is broken. This is a small black plastic connector that allows the roller to rotate. Since this was such a new purchase I called Shark to see if we could get a replacement connector part. I was told that they only guarantee the motor and that I would have to buy a new roller. The roller is functioning normally and does not need to be replaced. All I needed was to replace the little black…

SO disappointing but great suction power.

This is the second Shark Apex I've bought (the first was the green version, not a Zero-M) and now I'm having the exact same problem as the first. They are very easy to assemble and I love how heavy they are (because some vacuums feel cheap). . All of this behaves as if it were disconnected from the network and just goes out. When I first got the vacuum, I thought there wasn't enough cord connected to the side of the vacuum. I took it back to Lowes and decided to order from Revain (faster…

Has some nice features

The Shark APEX handheld vacuum is a good vacuum with some features that I really like. Upon arrival, set up was very easy. Instructions were included but they assembled in 5 minutes and no instructions were required. We've had a Dyson pet for over 10 years but this is the first Shark vacuum we've tried so I can try to compare the two. The biggest difference that I had to get used to is the hinge. When I first used it, I felt like it worked like a self-propelled mower because it seemed like it…

Heavy and sore arm muscles but strong suction and works great

I have used the SHARK APEX 5 times with different attachments, I was arguing about the rating. I've used a 20+ pound Kirby and a Dyson in the past. What makes this Shark Apex different is that it's so heavy, but the weight isn't in the head/on the ground, the weight is on the stick controlled with one hand. On the mat with the mat on, it practically pulls itself forward, which is easy, but the effort is invested in all the turns, curves, obstacles and nooks and crannies. Moving this thing to…
