Works perfectly! in ball valves

Had a shut off for the last few winters that allows a few drops to pass into the sprinkler counter flow. He burst. This valve has a small cap that is used to drain the last drop of water. Also, I can make sure that no water flows through the valve when it's closed.

Pros
  • Fittings
Cons
  • Very expensive

The best product in the plumbing world

I just found out about this product. I once saw a guy install it and then make his own sprinkler check valve to replace the crap valve. Make sure your cuts are even and it works so great! Saved about $300 by not paying a plumber.

Pros
  • Ball valves
Cons
  • Big and bulky

I love this shark bite!

This is what you need, especially if you don't like sweaty pipe connections that are hard enough to keep dry. I had two of these to replace old soldered caps and they have been leak free for about a year now. Plumbing will never be more than a great pain to me, but these shark fittings make the suffering so much easier.

Pros
  • Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Plumbing
Cons
  • You could go for a newer model
