SharkBite 22630LF 2 Inch Residential Arrestor Review

SharkBite hardware makes installation easy. I have it in a professional dishwasher. It has its own water heater and this is the 3rd water heater in 9 years! I believe this will solve my problem. The time will show. At least there's no more water hammer on this water line.

Gray product! Easy to install! Worked great to keep our pipes from shaking and making noise from the airlock! It seemed a little pricey, but if you want to stop making noise from pipes, you can't beat this! No leaks and surprisingly it stays at 90 degrees on the pipe! It also came very quickly!

Used to prevent water hammer in a motion activated delta mixer. Works flawlessly. PRO TIP: Do not install like the product photo. Set consists of 2 pieces, copper shark tee and hammer dampener. The instructions assume that you understand your physical problem and need to decide how to orient the downcomer on the tee in relation to water flow. The orientation photo in the Amazon image was wrong for my app. Once installed (super quick and comfortable with a shark bite) the knock is almost gone.

I was trying to use this to fix a problem with an RV toilet. Every time we flush water, our water supply system is subjected to shock waves. I was hoping this would help, but it didn't. Pricey, but if you can't or don't want to learn to solder, the SharkBite attachment system is surprisingly good. I had a severe water hammer from an outside faucet. Water hammer affects the pipes a lot and I was a little dubious that this system would work in a system that hammers. But I unsoldered the pipe at the existing 90 and cleaned the pipe ends.
